Sunday August 9, 2026 Sermon Conclusion

There's a kind of tired that sleep doesn't fix — the weariness of carrying worry, carrying people, carrying the low hum of everything you're responsible for.

Here’s the invitation, and I want to make it an action, not just an idea — because weary people don’t need one more nice thought to admire.
Sometime this week — today, even — find the thing you have been carrying that was never yours to carry alone. You already know what it is. It’s the first thing that came to mind just now. And then do the one thing tired people are worst at: don’t try harder with it. Hand it over. Say the words back to the One who said them first — I am weary, and I am coming to you — and let him take the heavy end of it.
You were never meant to pull alone. Come to him. And find rest for your souls.
Amen.
